A Note From Our CEO: Waiting is the Hardest Part

As summer wanes and autumn looms on the horizon, all of us here at MPG are excited to share with youl our new Fall 2021 Collection. Our designers have created a line we know you’ll love as much as we do, and we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store.

Unfortunately, due to forces well beyond our scope of control, global supply chains and logistic operations have either slowed to a snail’s pace or have ground to a halt altogether. Covid-19 restrictions on the other side of the world have shuttered factories, and shipping ports have grown gridlocked, forcing vessels to wait out the delays on open water. Further exacerbating matters are labor shortages impeding production at factories that have managed to remain open.

For you, our valued customer, this means that new fall items will arrive later than we’d initially anticipated and planned for. We have an idea of how long the delay will be for some styles, but for others, we await much-needed updates to learn when we can expect the stock to arrive to fill our shelves.

As we speak, our logistics, sourcing, and production teams are doing everything they can to compensate for the setbacks, including working closely with our suppliers to find alternate transportation routes while always adhering to our stringent standards of ethical compliance to ensure everything we do is done safely and respects the health and well-being of every individual in our supply chain processes.

During this time, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate a new paradigm of global sourcing, facing challenges and obstacles many of us have never experienced before. We sincerely hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy and are more than mildly confident our Fall 2021 collection will be worth the wait, full of classic styles updated for the new season as well as new pieces we know you’ll love.
